Origami, the ancient Japanese art of paper folding, is not just about making beautiful creations—it's also a therapeutic and fulfilling activity. Dive into the world of origami with Talo Kawasaki, an acclaimed origami instructor and visual artist based in Brooklyn.
Talo Kawasaki is renowned for his innovative designs, including the popular Patty Bat origami model, which has captured the imagination of over 1 million viewers online with its realistic flapping wings made from letter-size paper. As a co-designer for the American Museum of Natural History's origami holiday tree and a member of OrigamiUSA, Talo brings a wealth of experience and creativity to his workshops.
In this workshop, you'll learn the art of paper folding from a master, exploring a range of techniques and creating unique origami pieces.

Yes, you are welcome to customize your event. All of our events are mix-and-match. For example, if you want to host a candle-making event at your office instead of a studio downtown, you can! If you want to add catering, we can help. Just drop us a note when you book, and we'll arrange it for you!
Yes, we work only with highly reliable vendors. Every single one of our vendors is a small business owner. We either saw them in action or received a recommendation from one of our clients. Small business owners spend years mastering their skills and put great care into planning your experience.
We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We also accept ACH transfers. You can securely enter your payment details by following the invoice/payment link in the confirmation email.
If your business needs to run team events regularly, we are happy to send invoices to your accounting software.
Cancel seven calendar days before your event time and get a full refund. All other cancelations are not refundable. However, if the experience provider agrees to it, you can receive a voucher to run the same experience on another date. For cancellations, please contact hello@spaciously.io
