About the host

Judy Kim comes from a family of restaurateurs from South Korea and New York City. At a very young age she learned many traditional Korean cooking techniques and worked alongside her family in the kitchen of popular Korean restaurant Doong Ji in Elmhurst New York and in the kitchen of the Hait Bit Cheon family restaurant in the town of Yang Dong, Korea.

After a successful career in the fashion industry, she has returned to her heritage and true passion for cultivating exciting culinary experiences. Her mission is to share and make accessible all the fun and delicious foods she enjoyed as a child growing up in Korea.
