Join us for a fun and creative candle-making workshop where you and your team will craft luxury, non-toxic, soy candles from scratch. We'll kick things off with an introduction to candlemaking and a bit about our own candlemaking journey and our company. You'll have the chance to choose or mix your own fragrance, then prepare your vessels for pouring.
If you're hosting the workshop at your location, all you need is some table space for candle making. We recommend preparing snacks and drinks to give your team something to do while they are waiting for their candles to set. We'll bring everything else you need for a great experience!
At the age of 19, while working as a doorman in bustling New York City, my journey into the world of fragrances unexpectedly began. A chance encounter with a resident hosting a scent-making class ignited a passion within me. Little did I know, that moment would shape the course of my life.
Inspired by that serendipitous experience, I vowed to someday create my own candle company. A decade later, amid the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, I found myself with the gift of time. Determined to fulfill my promise to myself, Dojo was born.
We started small, selling Dojo Candles at local farmers markets. As time went on, fueled by our passion for fragrance and dedication to quality, we expanded our offerings. Today, Dojo boasts a diverse range of products including Eau De Parfums, Wax Melts, Room and Linen Sprays, Reed Diffusers, and Roll-On Oils. Each product is crafted with care and attention to detail, reflecting our commitment to excellence and the art of scent. We select the best local team-building activities run by small business owners, artisans and chefs. We offer these experiences at the same price as you would get if you booked directly with the host. We add easy and secure booking and dedicated event coordination.

To book, follow the secure checkout process on the website. This will reserve your host's time.
If you need extra help with anything, just leave us a note in the "Comments" field! We're happy to help with food and venue recommendations.
After you check out, you will receive a confirmation email and a receipt. Very shortly after that, our team will reach out to connect you with your host and help with the logistics and questions!
All prices are upfront. There are no extra charges beyond what you pay when you book. In 99% of cases, hosts won't ask for tips because they're already included in the price.
All activities you see on Spaciously are private. You will get a dedicated instructor. You will also get either an entire venue or a section of a venue to yourselves.
If our calendar allows you to pick a date and time, your activity is available! In the rare scenario that your host has an emergency and can't make the date, it's our responsibility to find you a substitute host or a substitute activity quickly. If you don't like the options, we'll send you a full refund.

We work only with highly reliable hosts. Every single one of our hosts is a small business owner. We either saw them in action, received a recommendation from another client or had a personal call to go over their proposed activity. Small business owners spend years mastering their skills. They put great care into planning your experience.
People love when they don't have to go out of their way for team-building. Invite the activity host to travel to your venue by selecting the option "My venue/office."
Some building management companies don't allow certain activities, e.g. cooking if you don't have a kitchen. Make sure you check this before you book.
Most buildings require a certificate of insurance. A one-off certificate of insurance costs ~$150 online, but 99% of the time, our hosts can provide one for free. There may be some back-and-forth with your building management to agree on the coverage, but we are happy to collaborate with you on this.
Refer to the cancelation policy on each listing when you book to see how much time you have to cancel your reservation. To cancel, answer the email thread we will start with you or contact hello@spaciously.io.
Regardless of the cancelation policy, hosts usually allow you to move the time of your booking a bit or to add a few more people. We are very collaborative when it comes to small event adjustments. Ultimately, we all want your event to be successful because we want to be your partners for a long time!
